SUSTAINABILITY. GROWTH. TRANSPARENCY.

Heather has accomplished a lot since 2012, but there is still
plenty of work to be done.
The Central Arizona Project is managed and operated by the Central Arizona Water Conservation District (CAWCD). The CAWCD operates a system of canals that run from the Colorado River throughout Arizona, supplying water to municipalities, agribusiness and industry. In fact, the CAWCD supplies a large percentage of Arizona's drinking water.
Unfortunately, we are facing a decreasing water supply, and it’s up to us to find ways to do more with less. Achieving true water sustainability in this challenging climate requires innovation and dedication.
